Part of the New Holland Operator Manuals.
A dash lamp you can't identify, or a service interval you're guessing at, is how a small tractor problem turns into a lost afternoon. The New Holland T2410, T2420 operator manual PDF, factory document 87356067, answers those questions across 127 pages covering both models. Factory wiring diagrams trace the circuits behind your instruments and lighting, and the lubrication and maintenance section, roughly a third of the book, walks through fuel and lubricant service and every scheduled check. Operation chapters explain the controls and instruments, engine starting, and the tractor's hydraulics. When you service the driveline, fill the transmission, rear axle, and hydraulic system with 46 liters on EHSS units, 38 on SSS, and swap the hydraulic filter at the first 50 hours. The hay won't wait while you hunt a spec. Bookmarked and text-searchable, this PDF finds the page fast and puts the tractor back in the field.

New Holland T2410, T2420 Common Problems This Manual Covers
New Holland T2420 EHSS not engaging, tractor will not move with clutch pressed and range selected
Check the operator presence interlocks first: sit fully on the seat, depress the clutch, and put the shuttle and PTO in neutral. Confirm the 51.0 liter fuel tank is not empty and listen for the fuel solenoid click at key-on. If the interlocks pass, trace safety control box and solenoid power with the wiring diagram on page 103.
Manual Section: Lubrication and Maintenance p. 103Loader joystick makes popping noise when hydraulic oil is cold or under PTO load
Check the transmission and hydraulic oil level and top up to the mark; low or aerated oil makes control valves chatter. Warm the tractor at low idle before loader work in cold weather. Replace the hydraulic filter if it is due; the first change comes at 50 hours, noted on page 66.
Manual Section: Lubrication and Maintenance p. 66Tractor lurches forward or slips out of gear when the clutch pedal is pushed
Check clutch pedal free travel and adjust it per the maintenance section before suspecting the transmission. Verify the combined transmission, rear axle, and hydraulic oil on level ground; EHSS units hold 46.0 liters (12.1 U.S. gallons), listed on page 106. If gears still jump under load, park it and call your dealer before the next field job.
Manual Section: Clutch Pedal AdjustmentEngine oil pressure warning light comes on at low idle shortly after starting
Shut the engine down immediately and check the dipstick on level ground. Fill if low; the crankcase holds 7.0 liters. Change oil every 100 hours, the interval listed on page 66. If the light stays on with oil at the mark, do not run the engine until it is checked.
Manual Section: Lubrication and Maintenance p. 66Front wheels wobble or clunk during road travel after heavy loader or tillage work
Check wheel bolt torque before every heavy work stretch. Torque front wheel bolts to 129 N·m (95 ft-lb) as specified on page 93, and recheck the rears to the same value. Inspect front wheel toe-in and tire pressures if the wobble continues after torquing, then road test at transport speed.
Manual Section: Lubrication and Maintenance p. 93Frequently Asked Questions
