Check spark plug condition and gap first, then work through the troubleshooting chart starting on page 438: cylinder compression, muffler, crankcase seals, carburetor, and air filter. If the flywheel was pulled during ignition service, verify the flywheel key is intact and torque the flywheel nut to 41 N·m before retesting for spark.
