This is the Diagnosis and Tests technical manual for the John Deere 9100, 9200, 9300 and 9400 4WD articulated tractors, 1998-2005. It covers what the operation-and-tests side of the shop actually needs: reading and clearing service codes from the ECUs, functional electrical schematics with test procedures, engine and fuel system diagnostics, cooling system tests, hydraulic and steering pressure tests, brake and PTO checks, and both Manual Shift and Power Shift transmission diagnosis. There is also a section for the AMS precision-ag side - AutoTrac, GreenStar and JDLink. This is the manual for finding the fault and proving it with a test, not a teardown/rebuild book - pair it with the repair TM if you plan to split the tractor.
