Doosan
Doosan excavator shop manuals in PDF. Factory technical documents for the full DX excavator line, covering three generations of crawlers from the popular DX225LC-5 and DX300LC-5 through compact minis, reduced-tail-swing models, and the mining-class DX700LC. Each manual carries a factory part number (K-prefix for older editions, 950106-series for Gen 3 and Gen 5) and includes EPOS controller diagnostics, hydraulic schematics, and torque specifications.

Choosing the Right Doosan Manual
Shop manuals cover complete teardown and rebuild procedures organized by system: engine (Doosan DL06 and DL08 diesels), hydraulics, electrical, undercarriage, and cab. A manual for the DX140LCR-3 walks through everything from main pump removal to EPOS-IV controller calibration. Generation 5 manuals add DPF regeneration and SCR aftertreatment procedures. Compact models like the DX85R-3 include the same depth of hydraulic and electrical detail despite the smaller platform. Doosan restricts its DMS-5 diagnostic software to authorized dealers. These PDF manuals give independent technicians and fleet managers the same technical depth without the subscription.
Are these the same manuals Doosan dealers use?
Yes. These are factory shop manuals produced by Doosan Infracore (now HD Hyundai Infracore, marketing equipment under the DEVELON name since 2023). Older manuals carry K-prefix part numbers like K1049551E, while Generation 3 and 5 manuals use the 950106-series format. Both contain identical OEM technical content. The DX340LC-5/DX380LC-5 troubleshooting manual is a good example: factory fault code tables, hydraulic pressure test procedures, and EPOS-V diagnostic flowcharts in a single searchable PDF you keep permanently.
Can I use a manual from one DX generation on a different one?
Not reliably. Doosan DX excavators span three distinct generations: the original DX (Tier 3, pre-2013), Generation 3 with the “-3” suffix (Tier 4 interim, EPOS-IV), and Generation 5 with the “-5” suffix (Tier 4 Final, EPOS-V with DPF/SCR). Each generation uses different hydraulic calibration data, wiring harness routing, and controller firmware. A DX140LCR-3 shop manual will not cover the emission system on a DX140LC-5, and an original DX225LC manual lacks the EPOS-IV sections needed for a DX225LC-3. Match the exact generation suffix on your machine’s model plate to the manual title before purchasing.
